Product Overview
Cracks in the rubber intake flange can pull unmetered air into the Grizzly 600, causing a hanging idle, lean backfire, hard starting, or an engine that runs better with the choke partly on. Replacing the boot seals the connection between the carburetor and cylinder head once the leak has been confirmed.
A new boot will not correct blocked jets, weak ignition, tight valves, or low compression. Inspect the carburetor outlet diameter and both sealing faces, then compare the molded angle and mounting holes to the original 4WV flange.
