Product Overview
A work Ranger with a plow or recovery winch may click, stop mid-pull, or run in only one direction when the contactor contacts burn or the terminals corrode. Because battery voltage, remote switches, grounds, cables, and the winch motor can create the same complaint, test the circuit under load first.
The contactor is the high-current reversing switch between the battery and winch motor. It responds to the low-current IN/OUT controls and changes motor polarity; it is not the dashboard switch or winch motor.
Match 4015095, connector, stud pattern, winch kit, mounting position, and full Ranger model. Crew, High Lifter, NorthStar, and accessory-installed machines can use different wiring routes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why will the winch work one way but not the other? A: One contact path may be burnt, but the direction switch, control wire, or motor can also be at fault.
Q: Is this the same as the dash rocker switch? A: No. It is the high-current contactor normally mounted near the battery or winch wiring.
Q: Does it fit every 2019-2022 Ranger? A: No. Match the XP 1000 model, installed winch kit, original number, studs, and connector.
Q: Is this an original-equipment part? A: No. This is a new aftermarket product. Brand names and part numbers are used only to identify compatible applications.
