Product Overview
A Switchback that bogs as the throttle opens, idles unpredictably, or logs a throttle-position fault may have a worn sensor track. Frozen connectors, chafed wiring, throttle-cable adjustment, reeds, fuel pressure, and clutch load should be checked before the sensor is condemned.
The TPS gives the ECU a continuous throttle-angle signal. Correct base voltage and smooth sweep are required; simply bolting on the sensor without setting it can create a new drivability problem.
Match 3131591 or SM-01280, engine size, model year, connector, mounting ears, and throttle-body shaft. Use the Polaris-specific TPS setting tool or electrical procedure.
