Product Overview
Transmission oil running down the PTO stub or collecting inside the driveline guard can indicate a hardened or cut shaft seal. Shaft wear, bearing looseness, overfill, and a blocked transmission vent must be inspected before the new seal is installed.
The seal keeps lubricant in the PTO housing as the output shaft rotates. It cannot compensate for a groove or radial movement at the sealing surface.
