Product Overview
If the engine runs only while the primer bulb is squeezed, dies as throttle is added, or loses fuel after sitting, the small diaphragm pump is a likely test point. This replacement uses crankcase pulses to move fuel from the tank to the carburetor on matching early outboards.
A closed tank vent, soft hose, bad primer bulb, air leak, or blocked carburetor can produce the same complaint. Later 1993-up engines often use a different pump, so verify the original number.
This is an aftermarket replacement part and is not manufactured or supplied by the original equipment brand.
