Compatible Models

We do our best to list all compatible models. Although this may be the part you need, your exact model may not appear below.

Compatible equipment / model
  • GM 4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L Gen III Vortec engines using drive-by-cable throttle (commonly 1999-2006)
  • GM LS1 / LS6-style applications using compatible 1997-2006 PCM and sensors
  • 4L60E electronic automatic transmission applications with matching connector and calibration

Product Overview

An LS swap often reaches the point where the engine is mounted but the original truck harness is cut, brittle, or buried in circuits the project no longer needs. This standalone harness organizes the engine-management and 4L60E connections so the swap can be wired as its own system.

The engine, PCM, throttle, injectors, MAF, alternator, oxygen sensors, and transmission must all match the harness. It does not tune the PCM or remove VATS by itself. Verify red/blue PCM architecture, DBC throttle, injector plug style, transmission connector, and sensor generation.

Key Features & Performance

  • Standalone layout for compatible Gen III LS swaps
  • Drive-by-cable throttle configuration
  • Integrated 4L60E transmission wiring
  • Labeled engine connectors and fuse/relay center as shown

Common Uses

  • Wiring an LS engine into an older car or truck
  • Replacing a damaged swap harness
  • Separating engine controls from an unwanted donor-body harness

  • Secure the harness away from headers, steering, and sharp metal

Compatibility Notice

Northline Parts does its best to list all known compatible models. The correct part may fit an application that is not shown above. Model year, production date, serial number, engine or equipment specification, installed options, and previous repairs can change fitment. Match the original part, reference number, dimensions, connectors, mounting points, and product photos before purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will this work with drive-by-wire? A: No. It is intended for a mechanical drive-by-cable throttle body.

Q: Does it include a tuned PCM? A: No. The harness does not replace the need for a compatible PCM and calibration.

Q: Can it run a 4L80E? A: Not as listed. Transmission wiring and calibration differ; use a harness built for the 4L80E.

Q: Is this an original-equipment part? A: No. This is a new aftermarket product. Brand names and part numbers are used only to identify compatible applications.
