Product Overview
A dragging rear wheel, uneven pad wear, fluid leakage, or an electric parking brake that cannot move the left caliper can make replacement necessary after hoses, slides, wiring, and the actuator command are tested. This assembly is built for the rear-left corner and the matching EPB system.
This is not a universal Outlander caliper. Confirm electric parking brake, drivetrain and trim notes, the casting, hose and bleeder positions, bracket, connector/actuator arrangement, and 4605C043. Some applications end by production date rather than calendar year.

Installation & Fitment
- Use the proper scan-tool service mode before retracting or disconnecting the EPB
- Clamp or cap the brake hose only by an approved method and prevent fluid contamination
- Inspect the hose, pads, rotor, slide hardware, and opposite caliper
- Install the bleeder at the top and torque the hose connection to specification
- Bleed the hydraulic system, initialize the EPB, and verify free wheel rotation before driving
