A hot no-start, long crank, unstable idle, or engine that dies as high-pressure oil demand rises can lead to the IPR valve after oil level, ICP readings, wiring, injector seals, and the high-pressure pump are tested. The IPR controls high-pressure oil sent to the injectors; it is not a fuel-rail pressure regulator.
