An excavator that loses keyed panel power, starts only when the key is held at an angle, or has a jammed cylinder may need a switch after fuses, relays, battery disconnect, safety lever, and wiring are checked.
The switch controls OFF, RUN, preheat, and START circuits according to the machine harness. It is not the heater-only switch used on some cabin configurations, so connector comparison is essential.
