Product Overview
A mower that cranks only when the key is wiggled, loses dash power, or starts and dies when the key returns to RUN may have worn contacts inside the switch. Battery cables, safety interlocks, relays, and the fuel-shutoff circuit can cause similar symptoms, so check them before ordering.
The switch routes battery power through OFF, RUN, PREHEAT, and START positions on the matching machine. The diesel glow-plug terminal is especially important; a look-alike switch with the wrong pinout can create a no-start condition.
