Product Overview
A kart that will not pull, slips after warming up, chatters, or creeps at idle may have worn shoes or springs. High idle speed, incorrect gearing, an oil-contaminated drum, misaligned chain, oversized tires, or an engine outside the clutch rating can cause the same problems.
The clutch automatically engages as engine RPM increases and transfers torque through the 10-tooth sprocket. It is a dimensional component, not a vehicle-specific bolt-on part.
