Compatible Models
We do our best to list all compatible models. Although this may be the part you need, your exact model may not appear below.
- Navistar / International DT360 mechanical diesel applications
- Navistar / International DT466 mechanical diesel applications
- Trucks, buses and equipment using the matching pump-mounted 12V solenoid
- Not for later electronic DT466E systems unless the original part and linkage match
Product Overview
An engine that cranks but receives no fuel, starts only when the shutoff lever is moved by hand, or will not stop with the key may have a failed solenoid or control circuit. Fuse, relay, ignition feed, ground, linkage, and injection-pump condition must be checked.
The solenoid moves the fuel-control linkage between run and stop positions. It does not generate injection pressure, and pull-in and hold circuits must be wired correctly to avoid overheating.
Match 1813868C1 / 2003ES, 12V rating, plunger stroke and direction, mounting holes, connector or leads, linkage, engine pump, and vehicle or equipment serial information.

Compatibility Notice
Northline Parts does its best to list all known compatible models, but the correct part may fit an application that is not shown above. Model year, production date, serial number, engine or equipment specification, installed options, and previous repairs can change fitment. Match the original part, reference number, dimensions, connectors, mounting points, and product photos before purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can a bad relay make the solenoid look faulty? A: Yes. Measure voltage at the solenoid during pull-in and run.
Q: Why does the solenoid get hot? A: Incorrect pull-in / hold wiring, low voltage, binding linkage, or the wrong duty rating can overheat it.
Q: Will it fit a DT466E? A: Do not assume so. Many electronic engines use different fuel controls. Match the original part.
Q: Is this an original-equipment part? A: No. This is a new aftermarket product. Brand names and part numbers are used only to identify compatible applications.
