Product Overview
This mechanical pump pulls fuel from the tank side of the system and supplies it to the injection system. A weak lift pump can cause long cranking, loss of prime or poor power when the engine is working.
Before replacing it, check the fuel filter, tank pickup and hoses for restrictions or air leaks. Those problems can make a good pump look weak and cause similar hard-start symptoms.
