Product Overview
If a compact machine has battery power but the key will not energize preheat or the starter, the switch may be worn internally. A failed relay, corroded harness plug, neutral switch, ground, or shutdown solenoid must still be ruled out.
This multi-position switch controls keyed engine power and the start and glow-plug commands on the matching wiring system. It is an engine-application switch, not proof of fit for every machine powered by that engine.
Verify the engine model and host machine, then compare the complete connector, number of terminals, terminal markings, bezel, switch body, and original reference.
