Product Overview
Mud, sand, and water collect in open axle tubes and can be pushed toward the inner differential seals whenever the shafts are removed. These serviceable outer seals add a barrier at the tube ends for Jeep owners who regularly run trails or repair contaminated axles.
Outer tube seals do not replace the internal differential oil seals and will not stop gear oil already leaking from the center section. They also do not fit vacuum-disconnect, two-piece passenger-side axle setups unless that system has been properly converted.
Identify the actual axle housing—not just the Jeep model—and measure the shaft and tube. Check clearance with aftermarket shafts, sleeves, trusses, and C-gussets.
