- Other 4L70E-family applications only after exact kit verification
Product Overview
A soft or slipping 1-2 shift can overheat the 2-4 band. A larger Corvette-style servo increases apply area and can create a quicker, firmer second-gear apply when the band, valve body, pressure circuit, and rest of the transmission are healthy.
A servo upgrade will not rebuild worn clutches, fix a broken sun shell, restore low line pressure, or compensate for an incorrectly adjusted or burned band. Very harsh shifts can also reveal other calibration problems.
Identify the transmission and model year, then compare cover, pin, piston, seals, and snap ring. 4L70E/4L75E use should only be claimed where the exact kit supplier specifies it.

Compatibility Notice
Northline Parts does its best to list all known compatible models, but the correct part may fit an application that is not shown above. Model year, production date, serial number, engine or equipment specification, installed options, and previous repairs can change fitment. Match the original part, reference number, dimensions, connectors, mounting points, and product photos before purchase.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will this fix every slipping 1-2 shift? A: No. The band, accumulator, valve body, pressure, solenoids, clutches, and calibration may be responsible.
Q: Does the transmission need to come out? A: Many servo jobs can be done from the side of the case, but vehicle clearance and the repair scope vary.
Q: Will the shift feel firmer? A: A larger apply area commonly firms the shift, but the final result depends on transmission condition and calibration.
Q: Is this an original-equipment part? A: No. This is a new aftermarket product. Brand names and part numbers are used only to identify compatible applications.
