Product Overview
A cart that runs weakly, jerks, produces brush dust, or stops at certain armature positions may have worn or sticking motor brushes. Batteries, cables, solenoid, controller, speed sensor, bearings, and armature condition must be checked before opening the motor.
The brushes carry current into the rotating armature through the commutator. New brushes cannot repair a burnt, deeply grooved, or out-of-round commutator, and motor work requires careful inspection and bedding.
Confirm the motor data tag says Advanced DC / ADC, then match the brush holder, brush dimensions, lead terminals, cart model, voltage, and original references. Model year alone is not enough.
