Product Overview
A cracked rubber boot can create a lean air leak that shows up as hanging idle, hard starting, poor throttle response, or a cylinder running hotter than expected. Carburetor cleaning will not fix a split flange, and riding lean can damage a two-stroke engine.
The boot seals and supports the carburetor between the intake and air-box area on the matching engine. Clamp tension, flange flatness, and carb alignment matter as much as the rubber part.
