Product Overview
This actuator moves the engine throttle between commanded operating speeds. If the lift remains at low idle, will not transition correctly to high speed or the linkage does not respond, the solenoid, controller output, wiring and throttle linkage should all be checked.
Genie 20780/20780GT application data supports Z-34/22, Z-45/22 and Z-45/25 families, with additional Genie applications depending on engine package. References also associate the solenoid with several Kubota gasoline/LPG and diesel engines used by Genie.
The actuator stroke and linkage adjustment are part of the system. A new solenoid cannot overcome a seized throttle lever or incorrect cable/linkage adjustment.
