Product Overview
A failed fuel shutoff or stop solenoid can make an otherwise healthy engine act as though it has a larger fuel problem. On Kubota V3300 / V3600 / V3800, symptoms may include hard starting, immediate shutdown after starting, or an engine that keeps running when the key is turned off. Before replacing it, confirm the wiring, connector and stop linkage are able to operate freely.
Replacing the failed solenoid restores the electrical movement that opens or closes the fuel-control linkage during starting and shutdown. That makes it a practical repair for a machine that is otherwise mechanically sound but can no longer control the fuel-stop function reliably.
