Product Overview
A gas cart that will not crank, starts only after tapping the solenoid, or loses starter-generator power intermittently may have worn contact discs. Battery state, pedal switch, key switch, cables, grounds, and starter-generator condition must be checked first.
The solenoid is the high-current switch in the starting circuit. It must be a continuous-duty design for the application; a short-duty automotive starter relay may overheat.
Match system voltage, four large and small terminal arrangement as shown, mounting holes, coil grounding, cart model, and original reference. G22/G29 gas and electric carts do not use the same power system.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does my cart start when I tap the solenoid? A: That can indicate worn internal contacts, but loose cables or a weak control signal should also be tested.
Q: Does 2003-up mean every newer cart? A: No. Model, gas powertrain, voltage, terminals, and original reference must match.
Q: Is this an original-equipment part? A: No. This is a new aftermarket product. Brand names and part numbers are used only to identify compatible applications.
