Product Overview
An IDI that cranks strongly but produces no smoke may not be receiving fuel because the internal DB2 pump solenoid is not opening. The same part can also cause an engine that will not stop from the key when its plunger sticks.
The solenoid installs beneath the injection-pump top cover and must be connected without pinching wires or misplacing the linkage. It is for 12-volt energized-to-run systems; many military or industrial pumps use 24 volts and are not interchangeable.
