Product Overview
An engine that cranks but the stop lever never moves, starts and immediately dies, or will not shut off with the key may have a failed pull or hold circuit. Low cranking voltage, a bad relay, weak ground, broken linkage, or a controller fault must be ruled out.
The dual-function solenoid pulls the fuel control into RUN during starting and holds it there while the engine operates, then releases it for shutdown. It does not repair the injection pump or provide fuel pressure.
Match 12 volts, all reference numbers, mounting centers, rod and clevis length, connector and wire count, stroke, engine code, host machine, and linkage direction. Several Yanmar engines use similar-looking solenoids with different geometry.
