Product Overview
A battery that never charges, a tachometer that drops out, overcharging voltage, or a charging component that fails hot can point to the regulator rectifier. Test stator output, battery condition, grounds, connectors, and wiring because those faults can damage a new unit.
The assembly converts stator AC output to DC and regulates charging voltage for the boat electrical system. It does not create stator output and cannot compensate for reversed battery polarity or corroded high-current connections.
Match the complete engine model and year, horsepower, original number, plug colors, lead length, mounting and cooling contact. Horsepower alone is not enough.
