Product Overview

Blades that will not engage—or cut out when the switch is touched—can point to worn switch contacts. First confirm the fuse, battery and charging voltage, seat and brake interlocks, clutch resistance, clutch air gap, and wiring so the new switch is solving the fault you actually have.

The dash switch sends the operator’s PTO request into the mower’s safety and clutch-control circuit. Correct fit requires the same connector, terminal arrangement, mounting opening, switch positions, and K3011-62300 reference.

Compatibility Notice

Northline Parts does its best to list all known compatible models, but the correct part may fit an application not shown.

Production date, serial number, engine option, dimensions, connections, and previous repairs can change the part used within the same model. Compare the removed item and service information before purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will this switch fix blades that will not engage? A: Only if the switch has failed. A blown fuse, low charging voltage, open clutch coil, wide clutch air gap, safety interlock, or broken wire can produce the same symptom.

Q: Can I bypass an interlock to test the PTO? A: Do not defeat mower safety systems. Use the manufacturer’s diagnostic procedure and meter tests with the machine secured.

Q: Why should I compare the removed part? A: Use the compatible list as a starting point, then compare the original reference number, dimensions, connections, mounting details, production date, and equipment or engine serial information.

Q: Is this a factory-branded component? A: This is a new aftermarket part. The brand and model names identify the applications it is intended to service.
