Important fitment note: Order by the original front rack number #5436865-070 and compare the rack shape, mounting holes and front-storage-box configuration. Some Sportsman Touring, X2, Forest and other trims use different cargo arrangements; a shared engine size does not guarantee this rack fits.
Product Overview
The front rack is where tools, a small bag or other properly secured cargo can ride on a Sportsman. If the original plastic rack is cracked, missing or has broken attachment points, this replacement restores the front cargo surface without replacing the ATV’s entire front body assembly. It matches the rack reference #5436865-070; keep the machine’s load rating and attachment hardware in mind before carrying anything.
A cracked rack can stop holding straps securely or may flex against the front body panels. Replacing the damaged rack panel helps restore a stable mounting surface, but the brackets and cargo-box arrangement beneath it must match the original.
Key Features & Performance

- Sportsman and Scrambler applications: Used on specified XP 550, XP 850, XP 1000 and Scrambler XP 850 configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit every version of the named model?
Not necessarily. Production changes, trim levels and existing mounting hardware can change what fits. Use the Compatible Models and fitment note above rather than relying on the name alone.
Does this replace the rack or the cargo box?
This is the front rack panel, not a complete cargo box, rack-support structure or accessory kit. Compare your existing rack with #5436865-070.
