Product Overview
When a Lexus IS bumper corner sags or pops away from the fender, the side retainer is often the failed piece. The small plastic guides carry the bumper edge, and once their tabs crack the bumper can no longer lock into position even if the cover itself is still usable.
Replacing the damaged retainers gives the bumper a proper attachment point again and can correct uneven panel gaps without replacing an otherwise usable bumper cover. Inspect the bumper tabs as well; a new bracket cannot hold securely if the mating tabs on the cover are torn away.
