This kit tackles two related causes of a poorly running Sportsman: a carburetor damaged by old fuel and an intake boot that has hardened or cracked. Replacing both can correct fuel-metering trouble and close the vacuum-leak path that makes an engine hang at idle, bog, or run lean.
