Product Overview
A 6.5 diesel that stalls hot and restarts after cooling is often associated with PMD failure, but power, grounds, extension harness, optical sensor, fuel supply, and pump codes must be checked. Moving a healthy module to a proper heat sink can reduce heat exposure; a plate cannot revive a failed module.
The finned aluminum plate provides a larger path for module heat to escape and is commonly used for remote-mount conversions away from the injection pump. PMD, extension harness, calibration resistor, thermal pad or compound, and mounting hardware are separate unless pictured.
