Product Overview
A dark, dust-loaded element can restrict airflow, increase smoke, and reduce power, especially on sweepers, mowers, compact equipment, and generators. If a fresh filter does not correct the problem, inspect the intake hose, precleaner, restriction indicator, fuel system, and engine condition.
The cartridge traps abrasive dust before it reaches the cylinders. It must seal at both ends; an element that looks close but leaves a gap can be worse than a dirty correct filter.
