Product Overview
A powered trunk that rises unevenly, stops partway, makes grinding noises, or needs a hand to open may have a weak electric strut after hinges, alignment, wiring, latch, and the opposite support are checked. This unit replaces the left-side powered support.
It is not a plain gas spring. Match the electrical plug, end fittings, extended length, left-side orientation, and both reference numbers. A bent trunk lid or misaligned hinge can overload the new actuator and should be corrected before operation.
