Product Overview
When the winch clicks but will not pull, works in only one direction, or stops after water and mud exposure, the contactor is one possible failure point. A low battery, damaged rocker switch, poor ground, corroded cable, or failed winch motor must be ruled out first.
The contactor uses a low-current switch signal to route battery current to the winch motor in either direction. Replacing it restores the high-current switching point when burnt or corroded internal contacts are confirmed.
Match 4015095 or 4013465, connector layout, cable-stud positions, mounting points, model year, and exact Sportsman trim. Disconnect the battery before moving any winch cables.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why does my winch only click? A: The contactor may be damaged, but low voltage, a bad switch, loose cables, poor grounds, or a failed motor are also common.
Q: Does 4015095 replace 4013465? A: Parts references commonly show 4015095 as the later service number, but the connector and mounting layout should still be compared.
